about

There was a shearer and he got very upset about the squatters lowering the shearers wages so he went on strike with all the other shearers. And then he burnt down a squatter's shearing shed. He took off, fleeing into the bush, the troopers and the squatters were in pursuit. Eventually he came to a billabong where he stopped for a rest but the troopers and the squatter found him. Did he jump into the Billabong to take his own life or was he murdered?
